Hurricane Marco’s forecast track has shifted west, National Hurricane Center forecasters said in a 4 p.m. update. The storm, expected to make landfall as a Category 1 hurricane on Monday, is moving to the north-northwest at nearly 13 mph now, but a turn to the northwest is expected later tonight followed by a turn to the west-northwest by Monday night. Mean while, Tropical Storm Laura — located just south of Eastern Cuba — has slightly strengthened and is expected to become a hurricane late Tuesday or Tuesday night.
